Overview: Villainous Collectives

This shelf holds organized mortal-scale antagonists: factions, cults, orders, slaving leagues, inquisitions, or states whose collective purpose, founding doctrine, or institutional drift caused lasting harm and kept operating after any single founder or leader was gone. Use the Origin Typology in the parent overview, adapted to a collective’s founding purpose rather than a single person’s temperament, and the Guide for Classification before adding an entry here.

No collectives have been drafted yet. This overview exists ahead of content so the directory structure is ready; the first entries are expected to come from the Phase 3 medieval-history pass, where a faction is needed to explain a surviving institution, taboo, or conflict.
