Overview
This directory contains reusable framework documents for the people-facing Caeldon shelf.
Use these files for design rules, comparative models, and world-scale guidance that should remain useful even after the setting’s main species and civilization documents become denser and more finalized.
These framework documents are meant to separate method from canon treatment. Species pages, civilization pages, and regional anchors should still carry the actual worldbuilding, but the broad rules for how new peoples are shaped, distributed, and compared should live here so they can guide later additions without remaining trapped inside overview pages.
Current Documents
- Species Branch and Civilization Framework: defines the broad-first rules for distinguishing species, branches, lifeways, civilizations, historical branch development, timeline-band placement, and proportional internal variation.
- Species Motivational Architecture Framework: defines the core behavioral framework used to distinguish sapient species by motivational weighting rather than by costume or one exaggerated trait, including guidance for mixed-line peoples and naming-status discipline.
- Current Species Motivational Profiles: records the current first-pass motivational tendencies, strengths, and failure modes for the established Caeldon species and related people-complexes.
- Proto-Anchor Population Map: the current deep-population framework beneath later species and civilizations on Caeldon.
- Caeldon Planetary Population Distribution: the current planetary distribution framework for cradle-core peoples, far-side peoples, and wider inheritance fields.
