Overview

This directory contains site-facing documents for The Resonance Cosmos.

These documents should focus on singular or tightly bounded places of strategic, sacred, historical, or symbolic importance.

The site material on this shelf is focused on the earliest major concentrated places where broader civilizational tensions become impossible to treat as abstract.

The site layer is still narrow but important: it anchors both the deep-world side of the wider Caeldon history architecture and the first far-side Orc, Halfling, and Gnome fields by giving larger regional and civilizational tensions a few bounded places where strategic need, symbolic weight, and historical memory concentrate together.

That makes the site shelf read as the most concentrated layer of larger histories: older interface formation, first contact, rupture, sealing, parallel Dark Elf and deep Dwarven branch hardening, post-catastrophe state formation, first competing claims, and then a durable struggle over one place in the deep world; on the far side, the first Pact-bearing Orc world where reserve custody and treaty-bound passage have to prove they can coexist at one bounded receiving and reserve site, the first Halfling fold world where reserve and bounded hospitality have to prove the same thing in a different key, the first Gnome littoral world where calibrated harboring and exact public trust have to do so along a dangerous coast, and the first paired Orc-Gnome threshold where outer-shore reception and inner-harbor entry have to prove they can coexist without collapsing into abandonment or false welcome; and beyond the shore, the first Thaluren spawning sanctuary where lawful return, clutch custody, and damaged sanctity become concentrated in one ancestral water.

The Thaluren/Kavari site layer now adds a second kind of water conflict: not only whether damaged Thaluren return can move to an alternate channel, but what happens when an alternate receiving water is already a Kavari nursery site with resident dwelling-water standing.

The broader design rules for how sites differ from regions now live in Regional and Site Design Framework, so this overview can stay focused on the currently named site shelf.
