Overview
The Radiance is a realm where truth is absolute and privacy is impossible. It is a plane defined by the saturation of light and knowledge. In this world, nothing can be hidden, nothing can be lied about, and nothing can be misunderstood. Every thought, every secret, and every intention is laid bare in a blinding brilliance.
Unlike the Gilded Cage (which is defined by rigid order) or the Apex (which is defined by perfection), the Radiance is defined by exposure and transparency. It is a world where the concept of a “secret self” does not exist. To enter the Radiance is to be stripped of all masks, all deceptions, and all illusions. It is a paradise of honesty that feels like a torture chamber of vulnerability.

- Color Palette: Blinding white, gold, and iridescent hues. There are no shadows, no darkness, no dim corners. Light emanates from the ground, the air, and the beings themselves.
- Lighting: The light is omnidirectional and intense. It does not cast shadows because it comes from everywhere at once. Looking directly at the “source” is painful and can cause temporary blindness.
- Terrain: Open, crystalline plains and towers of glass. Structures are transparent or semi-transparent. Walls do not exist; barriers are fields of light.

- Physiology: They do not sleep (no need to rest the mind from secrets). They do not eat (they absorb light and truth). They are immune to deception.
- Culture: Radical Honesty. There is no diplomacy, no politics, no social niceties. If you dislike someone, you tell them. If you love someone, you show it. Conflict is resolved instantly through direct confrontation.
- Behavior: They are direct, blunt, and often perceived as cruel by outsiders. They cannot understand the concept of “white lies” or “politeness.” They view outsiders as “broken” or “sick” because they hide their true selves.

- The Exposure: The primary danger. A traveler’s secrets, shames, and hidden desires are dragged into the light. This can cause psychological breakdown, suicide, or a loss of self.
