The Steward of Bearable Foundations guards the supports that reality and living peoples can actually bear. This is not merely the steward of buildings or walls. It governs foundational stability in the broad metaphysical sense: load-bearing truths, anchor-points of reality, deep supports beneath civilizations, and the hidden frameworks upon which other laws depend.

In the current historical framework, this office is the corrective successor to the older Steward of Foundations, whose refusal of lawful loss during The Uneven Settling helps produce the Cast-Out line now tracked as The Cast-Out of Unyielding Burden. Bearable Foundations therefore exists not to make support weaker, but to restore mercy, limit, and lawful release to the idea of support.

Appearance and Presence

The Steward appears as an immense figure of worked stone, iron strata, and quiet seismic force. It resembles both a mason and a mountain, but with visible joints and relief cuts rather than one perfect immobile mass.
